Puzzle Glue & Frames

Finished a puzzle you are proud of? Puzzle conserver glue seals the pieces into a single rigid sheet so you can hang a completed jigsaw as art instead of breaking it up. Applied properly, wiped over the front with the foam spreader in the cap so it works down into the seams, the result is genuinely nice, and one bottle covers several puzzles.

We stock the glue, not frames. Framing is on the list, but we only list what we physically hold, so until we have found a frame worth selling this page is conserver and nothing else. What you need instead is a 50 x 70 cm frame, which is a standard size in Australian homeware shops. About half the 1000 piece puzzles we stock finish at exactly 70 x 50 cm and fill one edge to edge. Most of the rest, including Gibsons, Cobble Hill, Eurographics and Wasgij, finish at 68 x 49 cm and leave a small gap that a mat board covers.

And for a 1000 piece puzzle, conserver is step one of two. Ravensburger's own instructions say a puzzle over 500 pieces should also be mounted on a board, because a conserved sheet on its own is only about as stiff as a cereal box lid.
