A stone loggia above Lake Como with bougainvillea over the arches and the table already laid. You are standing in the shade looking out, which is the oldest trick in landscape painting and it still works.
Two heavy stone arches on carved columns fill the top of the frame, with pink and magenta bougainvillea and climbing roses spilling over them and down both sides. An iron lantern hangs on the left. Below, a balustraded terrace with a round mosaic-topped table, two green iron chairs, a vase of yellow flowers, and terracotta pots of red geraniums and marigolds along the rail. Two white doves on the balustrade and a tabby cat sitting on the tiles at the bottom right.
Beyond the rail, the lake: deep turquoise, with a white sailing yacht and a red one, a small motor launch and moored boats along the far shore. On the left, a lakeside village of ochre, cream and pink villas with a square campanile. On the right, more villas and cypresses climbing a green hillside, and grey mountains behind under a blue sky with fat cumulus.
The arches split the picture into inside and outside, and they sort differently. Inside is warm stone, terracotta and dark green. Outside is blue, turquoise and pale villa render. Separate those two families first.
Build the columns and the balustrade next, since they are the strongest geometry. Then the boats, which are the only pure white on the water. The bougainvillea is the grind, several hundred small magenta bracts at the same scale across the top, and the way to handle it is to work outward from the stonework each stem grows against rather than inward from the middle of the mass.
Italian, High Quality Collection, box-confirmed 70 x 50 cm, with a poster in the compact box. Their printing runs vivid, which is what an image this saturated needs, and the tonal steps in the lake are what let you tell near water from far.

The framed-view composition, where an arch or a window puts you inside looking out, is one of the most reliable formats in the whole category. It solves a real problem: a plain landscape has nothing in the foreground, and a foreground with a table and a cat in it gives you somewhere to start. Derived from multiple public data sources across retail, search and community platforms, refreshed 31 August 2026.
We hold this title in two Clementoni boxes and the puzzle inside them is identical: the same 1000 pieces, the same 70 x 50 cm finished size, the same print. Clementoni reissued the artwork in their slimmer compact box, which is the one photographed here, and a few units of the earlier standard box are still on the shelf. The compact box states a poster included, the earlier box does not. If you would prefer one box over the other, or the poster matters to you, add a note to your order and we will pick it for you.
