Twenty-four beer bottles on a pegboard wall, and every single label is a different joke. Portrait format, and it is the most readable puzzle in the shop: you will spend as long laughing at it as building it.

What you are looking at

Three shelves of bottles against a tan pegboard, in green, brown and clear glass. The labels are the point. Among them: I WORK UNTIL BEER O'CLOCK with a clock face, MONEY CAN'T BUY HAPPINESS BUT IT CAN BUY BEER, IN DOG BEERS I'VE ONLY HAD ONE with a French bulldog, BEERADISE, BEAUTY IS IN THE EYE OF THE BEERHOLDER, HOME IS WHERE THE BEER IS, IT'S BEER:30, WELCOME TO THE MAN CAVE OPEN 24 HOURS BYOB, NEVER WORK DURING DRINKING HOURS, and A WELL BALANCED DIET IS A BEER IN EACH HAND. Between the shelves, bottle caps are laid out spelling B E E R and A W E S O M E.

What it is like to build

Type is everything here, and that makes it far easier than it looks. Every piece carries either a fragment of lettering, a bottle edge, or plain pegboard, and the lettering pieces are individually identifiable because no two labels use the same typeface or colour.

Build the bottles as columns. Each bottle is a hard vertical silhouette with a distinct glass colour, so you can assemble one bottle at a time and set it into the row. The pegboard is the only genuinely hard part, a repeating grid of holes on flat tan, which is a pattern rather than a picture. Do it last and place it by the position of the holes within the piece rather than by colour.

Why the Cobble Hill cut is different

Cobble Hill are Canadian and cut a random cut: pieces do not sit in rows, the shapes are irregular and no two are alike. On a repeating pegboard grid that is exactly the property you want, because a grid cut would hand you a hundred interchangeable squares of the same pattern. Linen print texture on the board. A random cut does not count out neatly, so do not audit the box before you start.

A little context

Novelty collections like this are one of the few reliable ways into the category for a non-puzzler: the recipient does not have to already enjoy jigsaws for the picture to land. They also work well on a shared table, because everybody keeps stopping to read one out. Derived from multiple public data sources across retail, search and community platforms, refreshed 31 August 2026.

Shipping rates & delivery estimates

We offer $9.95 Flat Rate shipping to 70% of all Australians. This means that no matter how many items you order, your shipping will be $9.95. Unfortunately, due to the costs of delivery to metro and rural areas, we have to charge slightly more for delivery to those areas. Metro - $12.95, Rural - $14.95. You can view Australia Post's defined areas here:  https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0341/3032/9736/files/Australia-Post-Zones.jpg?v=1674625696

(In most cases the shipping costs us more than we charge and the discount prices we offer on many of our puzzles make it difficult for us to discount the shipping further.) The shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

Please be aware that during peak times, delivery delays can occasionally occur.
