Two chameleons in a jungle, painted in colours no real chameleon has ever managed. Every surface in this picture is covered in tiny raised dots, and that texture is what makes it both beautiful and hard.
The larger chameleon fills the lower half: turquoise, gold and lime, its body covered in thousands of individually painted beads of colour, its tail curled into a perfect spiral, gripping a branch with a scaled foot, tongue out and catching a small green insect mid-air.
Above it, a second chameleon in scarlet and crimson with black banding, equally beaded, sitting along a stem. Between and around them: magenta and pink hibiscus and impatiens, a deep red bloom bottom right, a purple iris, a striped snail, a ladybird, and two butterflies, one orange and black and one brilliant electric blue. A third, much smaller green chameleon hides at the bottom centre. The background is dense layered foliage in half a dozen greens.
The two chameleons are the easy part, which is not what you expect. They are large, they are the only turquoise and the only scarlet, and their beaded skin is a distinctive texture you can spot from across the table.
The foliage is the work. Half the picture is overlapping leaves in greens that are genuinely close to one another. The way in is leaf shape rather than colour: the artist has painted several different plants, and their leaves differ in outline, vein pattern and gloss. Sort by leaf type. The flowers are your landmarks in the middle of that green, so place every pink and magenta piece early.
Cobble Hill are Canadian and cut a random cut: irregular shapes, no grid, no two the same. On massed foliage in one colour family that is the signal that remains once green has stopped separating anything. Linen print texture, poster included, and a random cut does not count out into rows.

Highly saturated wildlife illustration is a distinct thing from wildlife photography and it makes a better puzzle nearly every time, because a painter can push the colour apart where a camera cannot. If you have found photographic animal puzzles frustrating, this style is the answer. Derived from multiple public data sources across retail, search and community platforms, refreshed 31 August 2026.
