Loved the challenge very colourful.
A room in an Italian hill town given over completely to books, with two cats supervising and the roofs of the old city through the window. Painted in hot, saturated colour rather than the sepia you expect from a library picture, which is what makes it work as a puzzle.
Floor-to-ceiling shelves down the right-hand wall and around the left, packed with books painted as blocks of pink, teal, orange, yellow and green rather than realistic spines. A long yellow table down the middle stacked with more books, a white jug of hydrangeas, a brass alarm clock. A gilded chandelier hanging above.
Through a tall red-framed window on the left, the town: terracotta rooftops, two stone towers and a campanile, hills behind under a blue sky, with a white vase of pink flowers on the sill. A red wooden chair on the left with a tabby cat sitting bolt upright on it. A buttoned cream armchair in the centre with a second tabby stretched out asleep across the seat. A turquoise chair on the right, also stacked with books, a potted plant, and books piled loose on the floorboards in every direction.
This is a colour-block puzzle, which sounds easy and is not. The books are painted as flat coloured rectangles, so you get large runs of near-identical shelving where a piece from one shelf will look convincing on another. That is the whole difficulty.
Build the furniture and the window first. The window frame, the table edge, the chandelier and the three chairs are the only strong shapes in the room, and they divide it up. The two cats are the only fur and go in instantly. Then attack the shelves by hue run, because the painter has grouped the books in colour bands: find where the pink run meets the teal run and you can locate a piece by its position in the sequence rather than by its colour alone.
EuroGraphics are Canadian, based in Montreal. They print on recycled board with soy-based inks on FSC certified stock and cut from blue-cored board for a firm fit that does not fray with handling. On an image made almost entirely of flat saturated colour, print consistency is what you are relying on: if two greens drift apart between one side of the sheet and the other, the whole sorting method falls over.

Books and libraries are one of the most reliably popular themes in the whole adult category, and they split into two kinds: the realistic antiquarian library, and the saturated painted one like this. They are completely different builds. If somebody found a sepia library dull, this is the version to try instead.
