What you are looking at

What it is like to build

The signpost is the best starting point, not the bus. Each arrow board is a different saturated colour carrying large clear lettering, so those pieces are individually identifiable and they anchor the left third.

Then the bus. The cream upper half is a big clean block; the floral lower half is the most detailed area in the picture and goes in quickly because no two blooms are alike. The sand and the sky are the two hard fields. Both are smooth and pale. Sort the sand by how much beach grass or shadow it carries and the sky by tone, and place both last.
