Build the road first. The grey carriageway runs up the centre and is the only large plain area, and at this piece size it is not a chore. Then the two shopfronts, which are strong blocks of blue and cream with signage. The bunting across the top is the fiddliest part, triangles of primary colour against pale sky, and it is worth doing early because it fixes the upper third.
