Gibsons - Tuscany Sunset 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle

What you are looking at

A round stone archway hung with grapevines, bunches of green and purple grapes dangling through it, and banks of red and magenta bougainvillea climbing both sides. What it is like to build

The arch splits the puzzle into inside and outside, and they sort differently. Inside is cool: grey stone, blue cloth, dark green vine. Outside is hot: gold, amber, pink. Separate those two families first and half the work is done.

Build the barrel and the table next. Both are large, hard-edged and unlike anything else. Then the striped cloth, which is the only regular geometric pattern in the frame. The bougainvillea is the grind, hundreds of small magenta and scarlet bracts at the same scale on both sides, and the way to handle it is to work outward from the stonework it grows against rather than inward from the middle of the mass.
