Which Wasgij is this

In a Mystery you build the seconds after the scene on the box. In an Original you build what one character can see. In a Destiny you build the same place at a different time. Three strands, three genuinely different puzzles, and people have firm preferences about which they like.

What is on the box

A television studio mid-broadcast. A curved lilac and blue stage under a EuroSound sign, with two performers in enormous red, yellow and blue tiered gowns and a guitarist beside them. Camera cranes, studio lights and a gantry above. A green room and bar area in the foreground packed with contestants and hangers-on: a woman in a gold sequinned gown, a man in a leopard-print suit, a Highland piper, someone in a Viking helmet, national flags from across Europe including the Netherlands, Greece, Spain and a Union flag, leopard-print sofas, champagne on ice, and one person asleep in a fur coat. The character on the side of the box is a woman in silver holding an envelope, so the result is coming.

What it is like to build

Sort by colour family and by line, because that is all you have. No reference picture means grouping replaces the image: skin tones, the purple and blue of the stage, the flags, and the leopard print, which is its own unmistakable texture. Wasgij art is heavy black outline over flat fill, so any piece carrying a line is worth several that do not.

Build the border first and treat it as load-bearing, because it is one of the few certainties you get. Expect longer than a standard 1000 and a better payoff at the end. The reveal is the product.
