Which Wasgij is this

In a Mystery you build the moments after the scene on the box. In an Original you build what a character can see. In a Destiny you build the same place at a different time. Same brand, three genuinely different puzzles, and people have strong preferences.

What is on the box

A packed restaurant on what is clearly Valentine's night. Heart-shaped balloons, a I LOVE U cushion, bunting and garlands overhead, roses on the tables. Waiters carrying trays of lobster and covered dishes through a crowd, a chef leaning out of the pass at the back, champagne being poured, a lobster tank on the right. Every table has a couple at it and every couple is having a slightly different evening: one man beaming, one woman looking thoroughly unimpressed, a teddy bear propped in a chair, a dropped dessert. The character on the side of the box, a waitress carrying a covered dish, is the one whose next few seconds you are building.

What it is like to build

Sort by colour family and by line, because that is all you have. No reference image means grouping replaces the picture: skin tones, tablecloth white, the red of the roses and balloons, the dark of the waiters' uniforms. Every piece carrying a black outline is worth several that do not.

Build the border first and treat it as load-bearing. It is one of the few certainties available. Then look for the strongest repeated objects, the balloons and the white tablecloths, and use them to establish scale and spacing across the middle of the board.
