Several thousand real flowers, laid out by hand into a perfect spectrum spiral. From Clementoni's ColorBoom range, and it is a puzzle about colour and nothing else.

What you are looking at

A dense flat bed of cut flowers photographed from directly above, arranged so the hues sweep round in a continuous whirl. Scarlet and crimson down the left, running up through orange and apricot into a broad band of yellow, then acid green, then teal and cornflower blue, then violet and magenta curling back into the centre.

Every flower is real and identifiable if you look: gerberas, chrysanthemums, dahlias, sunflowers, carnations, small daisies, succulents, thistles and cornflowers, all packed head to head with no gaps and no background showing anywhere.

What it is like to build

The gradient is a coordinate system and it does half your work. A piece's colour tells you where in the spiral it belongs, which is a luxury almost nothing else in the category offers.

But colour alone will not finish it, because the spiral is smooth and two pieces of the same yellow can sit twenty centimetres apart. The second sort is flower type: a gerbera has a large flat disc and even rays, a chrysanthemum is a tight ball of thin petals, a succulent is a geometric rosette. Sort by hue first and by species second and the picture resolves. The transitions are the hard part, where orange becomes yellow, so build the middle of each band solidly before you attempt its edges.

Why Clementoni

Italian, ColorBoom Collection, box-confirmed 70 x 50 cm with a poster included. The whole range exists on the strength of their printing: an image that is one continuous spectrum only works if the steps between adjacent tones survive on to board. If the colour banded, the puzzle would be impossible.

A little context

Colour-gradient puzzles are their own kind of difficulty, different again from a repeating pattern or a plain sky, and they are one of the pillars we go deep on. This one is unusual in being both hard and genuinely decorative. If you like it, the ColorBoom range also runs to architecture: we hold Athenaeum, a library in full neon. Derived from multiple public data sources across retail, search and community platforms, refreshed 31 August 2026.

Stock is real and it is in Sydney. Free shipping Australia wide over $150, and free same-day delivery inside 6 km of North Bondi with no minimum.

Shipping rates & delivery estimates

We offer $9.95 Flat Rate shipping to 70% of all Australians. This means that no matter how many items you order, your shipping will be $9.95. Unfortunately, due to the costs of delivery to metro and rural areas, we have to charge slightly more for delivery to those areas. Metro - $12.95, Rural - $14.95. You can view Australia Post's defined areas here:  https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0341/3032/9736/files/Australia-Post-Zones.jpg?v=1674625696

(In most cases the shipping costs us more than we charge and the discount prices we offer on many of our puzzles make it difficult for us to discount the shipping further.) The shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.
