100 Pieces

100 pieces is a single sitting. For a child of about six or seven it is a proper achievement rather than a chore, and for an adult it is a pleasant twenty minutes with a coffee. It is also the count most often used for extra-large-piece puzzles aimed at older builders, where the finished picture is full size but there are only a hundred pieces to place.
