500 Piece Jigsaw Puzzles

500 pieces is the most underrated size in puzzling. It is a single relaxed afternoon rather than a commitment, the pieces are a touch larger so the image stays readable, and it clears off the table before dinner. If you are buying for someone who says they do not have time for puzzles, this is the size that changes their mind.

It is also the sensible size for a first puzzle in years, and for anyone who finds 1000 pieces a strain on the eyes. If that is the issue, look at Extra Large Pieces as well.
