1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzles

1000 pieces is the size most adult puzzlers settle on, and for good reason. It is big enough to be a proper project, finishes in a few sittings rather than a few weeks, and fits a standard dining table at roughly 70 x 50 cm. It is the size nearly every brand puts its best artwork into, which is why this is the deepest part of our range.

Expect anywhere from three to ten hours depending on the image, the cut and how many people are working on it. We broke the maths down in How Long Does a 1000 Piece Puzzle Take?, and if you are weighing sizes against each other, The Complete Guide to Puzzle Piece Counts covers the lot. For which brands are actually worth the money and why, read The Best Jigsaw Puzzles in Australia.
